Hi, my name is Dori!

I’m an illustrator and designer based in London, and I’ve been drawing and painting for as long as I can remember.

My wedding stationery journey began when a friend asked me to design their wedding assets, and I haven’t looked back since. At the time, I was illustrating everything digitally on my iPad, but last summer I rediscovered a set of watercolour paints I’d had since I was about 13 and decided to give them another go.

Coming from a graphic design background, I’m used to endless revisions and carefully adjusting details until everything is perfectly aligned. Watercolour felt completely different. Without the safety net of command+Z, I found a sense of freedom in creating by hand.

It may seem like a slightly backwards path in such a fast-changing digital world, but returning to watercolour brought back the joy of making and creating in a way I hadn’t felt for a long time. My goal now is to share that joy with others through thoughtful, hand-painted stationery that feels personal, meaningful and made to be treasured.
